Obituaries
Matthew W. Price ('87), 43, of Syracuse, passed
away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was
born April 24, 1968 and lived in Syracuse most of his life. Matt
graduated from Nottingham High School and attended Central Tech.
He was employed by Denny's Restaurant. Matthew enjoyed cooking,
camping, and boating. He was an avid SU fan and had a passion
for music and films. Matt is best remembered for his trivia and
facts on any subject, including American History. He also had a
great love for animals. Surviving are his mother, Elenore
Wynkoop of Syracuse; his father, Michael (Vaudine) Price of
Lafayette; a sister, Jennifer Price of Syracuse; brothers,
Charles Price of Tampa, FL and John Price of Syracuse; a niece,
Christina Peters of Syracuse; a stepbrother, stepsister and
several cousins. Also his beloved cats, Ebony and Cookie.
