Thom Filicia (’88)
has purchased a cabin on Skaneateles Lake. He plans to spend a
year restoring it and plans to use it as a vacation and weekend
getaway spot. He still has family in Central New York.

Thom Filicia (’88) has written a
book, “Thom Filicia Style”, released on October 21. The book
details Filicia’s youth in Syracuse on a time-line of his life
on the opening pages. Thom is keeping busy finishing the design
on the W Atlanta Buckhead Hotel, shooting another season of
“Dress My Nest” on the Style Network, and working on a furniture
line.

Thom Filicia (’88), host of the Style Network’s “Dress My Nest”,
was scheduled to appear on WCNY-TV’s local daytime cooking and
talk show, “Food for Thought”, on January 2, 2008. He will speak
about his career in the design industry. He was in Syracuse
recently to design a tree for the Everson Museum’s annual
Festival of Trees.

Thom Filicia (’88) was pictured flanked by current Nottingham
students Brittany Lancaster, Krissie Oja, Samantha Gerbino, Anna
Pietrzak, Yelena Galstyan, and Andrew Parrillo. The picture was
taken during his recent visit as one of the inductees to the
Wall of Fame.
September 27, 2007
Nottingham’s second annual Wall of Fame ceremony will be held
October 13. Honorees include Walter Diamond (’30), James Early
(’39), Ellie Berg Hayman (’51), Doug Swift (’66), David Klim
(’70), Felisha Legette-Jack (’84), and
Thom Filicia
(’88). Karen Oberbrunner (’84) will perform.

Thom Filicia (’88) will help American Signature Furniture
open its new store in Clay today. Thom is one of the stars of
Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” and Style Network’s
“Dress My Nest”. He’ll mingle with the crowd and judge a
“Designer Recliner” contest for the most run-down recliner. The
winner will receive a new recliner, an interior design
consultation with Filicia, and a $1,000 ASF gift card. The first
20 participants will receive a $25 ASF gift card.
Feb. 26, 2006
Greg Jones (’88)
makes sure that the girls basketball team hits the books.
As a player, Jones was a member of the Nottingham’s state
championship team in 1987. As a coach, he also works as a
case manager for the school district, and in 2005 led the Lady
Bulldogs to a Class AA state title.
