Nottingham grad Joe Driscoll (’97) was headed for a two-week vacation in North Carolina before performing at several venues in the UK in August. He’s also working on a follow-up CD to the successful “Origin Myths”, having started his own label.

Nottingham graduate Peter Gay (’97), 27, has announced his candidacy for the 25th Congressional District as a Republican. He boasts of being the only candidate who sings in a punk rock band, Crash Martinez. If he gets the nomination, he’ll be running against the Democratic candidate, Dan Maffei.

Shara Patterson (’97) was one of three people interviewed for an article on planning high-school reunions. She recommends working with a committee to share the workload. Among the suggestions are: plan early, get organized, decide the details, arrange for payment, spread the word, and track the guests.

December 30, 2007

About 600 people were at the Palace Theatre for a performance by hip-hop artist and Nottingham alumnus Joe Driscoll (’97). Joe, 27, played more than 90 minutes for the audience of young and old fans. Joe, who moved to London in 2005, has performed all over the world. This is his second annual homecoming show in Syracuse, where he got his start.

Joe Driscoll (’97) has been invited to join a two-week tour starting at the Arts Alive Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa, and ending at the Lake of Stars Festival in Malawi. Joe, a hip-hop singer-guitarist, lives in London.
