Nottingham
was at the Tony Awards last night! The Tonys are the
awards for Broadway shows. If you watched the show, you
saw
HAIR! win the Tony for best revival of a musical, and you
heard Oskar Eustis, the Artistic Director of The Public Theater,
thank his staff for all their hard work producing
HAIR!,
first in Central Park and then for Broadway. One of those staff
people is Rosalind Barbour ('03) (Le Moyne Coll.
('07), who is the Assistant to the Executive Director of The
Public Theater. (Sorry, though--she cannot get you
tickets.)
Roger Coleman ('04 (SUNY Purchase ('08)
helped build the sets you saw on stage. He works for the
company Blackwalnut, which builds scenery for television,
theatre, exhibits, and special events.
Roger and Rosy
began working in theatre at Nottingham, and Nottingham should be
proud of the experiences it gives to its students in the arts.
And yes, if you work hard, you can make a living in the arts!
Natasha R. (Jones) Wheatley ('04)
was married August 25, 2006 to William Andrew Wheatley of
St.George, Utah. We welcomed our first little girl, Emmaline
Grace Wheatley on February 10, 2009. We live in Houston, TX.
