The nights before and after Thanksgiving 2008, Nottingham Alumni enjoyed a multi-year reunion at Metro Lounge and Sushi bar on Westcott Street, owned by fellow bulldogs Sammer Essi and Gabe Sande. I had the idea for this after I moved to London and started connecting with Nottingham friends on the social networking site, Facebook. Gradually plans emerged for a mega reunion at Thanksgiving. Word spread. About two hundred people showed up on the day before Thanksgiving. There were people from the Class of 1969 all the way up to 2005. People came from as far away as California, Kalzmazoo and Kentucky. It was a really nice evening because people from all classes were mixing together and alumni from Syracuse were networking. I can see that the night rekindled old friendships.

I had to return to London before the second successful reunion
on the day after Thanksgiving.
The events were a great success, the only sad thing being that the terrific donation box made by Adam Felleman ('86) did not draw as many donations to assist The Nottingham Connection in supporting our school as we would have liked.
